This generator rotor fits some Dynamatic® and Louis-Allis® eddy current drives in the ACM-9083, ACM-9091, ACM-9092, ACM-910 and ACM-9103 frames. The generator rotor is mounted on the output shaft. The tachometer provides a feedback signal to the controller proportional to the output speed of the drive. The controller uses this signal to maintain an accurate output speed. This is only the rotor portion of the tachometer.
